Millers Stumble, Lose to Ramrods
|
The Huntington Station Ramrods thumped the Milwaukee Millers, 8-1, at Station Center Yard. Larry Neal was a big reason his team got the win. Neal was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The 6th-place Ramrods sport a record of 64-76.
Huntington Station grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Neal hit a grand slam home run off Alex Solis. His 16th home run of the season put the Ramrods out in front, 4-0.
"Our offense was purring," said Huntington Station manager Paco Berroa. "Like a well-oiled machine."
