Islanders Drop 3-2 Decision to Peaches
In a tight contest between the Savannah Peaches and the Coronado Islanders, Tony Navarro was the determining factor. The Savannah left-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. Paul Lemieux got credit for the save for Savannah. It was his 1st of the year. The win gives the Peaches a record of 8-2.

Savannah catcher Alex Osorio helped the Peaches go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Osorio hit a run-scoring single off Coronado pitcher Antonio Ramirez.

"That's baseball," said Coronado manager Ed Lenhardt. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."
