The Bloomington Blazers picked up a win at Arson Arena, knocking off the Walnut Creek Warriors, 4-2. On the mound for Bloomington was left-hander Humberto Diaz. He played a key role in the triumph. The 'W' lifts Bloomington's record to 33-40.

The Blazers got a big at-bat from right fielder Juan Lopez. For the game, Lopez was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 10th double of the season gave Bloomington a 2-1 lead.
