Tenafly played host to Lerna at the friendly confines of Ballpark of León HS.

The Tenafly Tigers downed the Lerna Lions, 9-2, at Ballpark of León HS. Josh George led the way, going 4-for-5 for Tenafly. Tenafly reliever Jon Newman picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Bob Daly shouldered the loss.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and no one out in the bottom of the second inning. That's when center fielder Mike Blevins reached on an error by the SS. The Tigers went on to win.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Blevins.

The Tigers, at 34-31, have now won 7 straight.
