Mustangs Rally For Late Win Over Trojans
|
Downsview used a superb performance from starting pitcher Devin Gramlich to down the Terra Linda Trojans, 3-1. Justin Grasso, credited with the save, is now 5 for 6 in save opportunities. Downsview goes to 36-27. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
Downsview used the bat of Matt Hayden to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Mustangs ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Gramlich said.
