The San Francisco Earthquakes turned back the Bighorn Bison, 9-8, at Golden Gate Park. Dylan Robertson, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Ethan Howell closed the door for San Francisco, picking up his 1st save of the year. With the win, San Francisco goes to 3-6.

With San Francisco leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth, Robertson hit a fastball from Gordie White for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Earthquakes ahead, 7-3.

"Guys always talk about winning games because of the 'little things,'" Robertson told the San Francisco News. "Call me old fashioned, but I think baseball is about the big things -- like scoring more runs."
