Derby Panthers starter Victor Romero was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Terra Linda Trojans, 4-3. The win puts the Panthers at 31-29, while the Trojans drop to 23-37.
Ralph Parsons, the Derby designated hitter, contributed a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to make the score 4-3, Panthers. For the game, Parsons went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"This place was jumping at the end," Romero said.
