The home crowd had a good time watching the Frobisher Bay Caribou and Manchester Mooses get after it.

The Manchester Mooses picked up a win at Moose Head Stadium, topping the Frobisher Bay Caribou, 6-1. On the mound for Manchester was right-hander Victor Molina. He played a principal role in the triumph. The victory makes Manchester 1-2.

Molina, the winner, is now 1-0. In 8.2 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 6 hits, while collecting 9 Ks. He essentially shut down the Frobisher Bay offense.

"Victor was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Manchester manager Rodney Beam.
