The Victoria Totems outlasted Steve Pike and the Paradise Island Pirates, 10-9. Pike was impressive in the loss. The Paradise Island catcher hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Edgar Adame picked up the win in relief for Victoria, while Robby Barbosa took the loss. The win gives Victoria a record of 2-0.

With the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth, Pablo Grijalva delivered the knockout blow when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to win it for Victoria. In the contest, Grijalva went 2-3 with 2 singles and 3 walks.
