The Bighorn Bison and Cabo San Lucas Toreros played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

The Bighorn Bison eked out a 3-2 win versus the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Jeff Lee. He was terrific. Eric Steinbach finished to wrap up his 8th save.

The Bison got a big at-bat from first baseman Danny Douglass. For the game, Douglass went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 21st home run of the season gave Bighorn a 3-0 lead.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Douglass.

The third-place Bison sport a record of 40-33.
