Allgor Lifts All Blacks to 10-6 Win
|
A 6-RBI performance from designated hitter Matt Allgor, who is tied for 7th in the HALL with a .667 slugging percentage, led the Baie-Comeau All Blacks to a 10-6 win over the Riverside Poly. Jayden Smith earned the win to go to 1-5. He allowed no earned runs on 1 hits, with no walks and 9 strikeouts. With the victory, the All Blacks record now stands at 23-30.
Allgor had a key at-bat for Baie-Comeau early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and gave Baie-Comeau an early 3-0 lead.
"We got the victory," said Allgor. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
