It was a fun time at Swamp Foxes Stadium, where the Riverside Poly and Baie-Comeau All Blacks tangled.
Riverside pitcher Khalil Fields gave the All Blacks all they could handle, but in the end, Baie-Comeau left Swamp Foxes Stadium with a 6-2 win. Fields allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings. The win puts the All Blacks at 22-30, while the Poly drop to 25-27.
Dylan Brown hit a run-scoring double off Ed Helmer in the bottom of the eighth, which put the All Blacks in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Brown had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
Brown told a Baie-Comeau Gazette reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
