Dula Gets 5 Hits
Adam Dula was at the head of a George Washington hit parade at Breakers Ballpark. The center fielder went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Patriots to a nice 17-13 victory over the Topeka West Chargers.

"I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Dula told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today."

Chargers skipper Walt Muller said later that the club gave up "too much plate."

"Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

Adam Dula doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Ryan Woller in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.

Dula is currently batting .332 with 15 home runs and 57 RBIs.
