Kansas City Drops Another One, 12-4
Kansas City first baseman Andy Chambers was sensational. He went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Hawaii beat the Tornadoes, 12-4. Now 38-46, Kansas City has dropped 14 straight.

The Tornadoes had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Honu going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old second baseman Matt Muszynski came to the plate. Muszynski hit a 3-run home run on a 2-2 sinker from Kansas City hurler John Nauss. It was Muszynski's 2nd home run of the year.

"We're not winning games right now," said Kansas City manager Lewis Cannon. "But I'm not going to denigrate the effort by the guys."
