A 4-RBI performance from first baseman Travis Wharton, who is tied for 10th in the RCL in RBI with 52, led the Seattle Sasquatch to a win over the Chicago Eclipse, 9-0. Travis Reske, the winner, is now 3-3. He struck out 1 and walked 2 over 6.2 innings, while allowing no runs on 6 hits. Seattle has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

With Seattle leading 5-0 in the bottom of the eighth, Wharton came up to bat against Chicago pitcher Terry Bradley. Wharton hit a fastball to center for a grand slam home run. His 16th home run of the season put the Sasquatch on top, 9-0.

Sasquatch manager Alim bin Umar had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
