Soggy conditions did not keep Frontance and Downsview from playing their scheduled game.

Behind a fine performance from Tim Denton, the Frontance Falcons knocked off the Downsview Mustangs, 10-4. Denton hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Falcons. Herb Achbar picked up the win in relief. Bob Rawlings took the loss for Downsview.

Denton had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Falcons went on to win.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Denton.

The Hank Aaron Little League Willie Mays Division-leading Falcons have a record of 29-17.
