Panthers Knock Off Panthers at Managua HS Grounds

It was a fun time at Managua HS Grounds, where the Pitman High Panthers and Derby Panthers tangled.
Derby right-hander Michael Benz pitched his team to victory over the Pitman High Panthers at Managua HS Grounds. The final score was 6-4. Florent Leclercq finished the game for Derby and earned his 9th save.
Eddie Venafro put Derby in front, 6-0, when he took Nate Ming downtown. His 3-run home run came with no one out in the bottom of the sixth. It was his 7th home run of the season.
"It's a mindset," said Benz. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
Derby is now 25-20, Pitman High 18-27.
