Tuesday, October 7th , 2064
In a powerful performance that left the fans at Santa Clara Stadium buzzing, Tulsa Titans center fielder David Perez blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 9-5, over the Santa Clara Vampyres.
"Everything was clicking," Perez told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Perez shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Titans manager Ezra Boudouani said. "David played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
David Perez hit a solo-shot off Agustin de la Cruz in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Agustin de la Cruz in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Robby Gonzales in the 5th, walked in a run in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
Perez has collected 188 hits for the Titans this year, 50 of them home runs. He has also netted 175 RBIs and scored 146 runs while batting .339.
