RCL LA Picks Top Performer Monday, October 6th , 2064 Martinsburg fans have something to crow about today as Martinsburg right fielder Tobias Koeck nabbed the RCL LA Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Koeck. He posted a .440 average (11-for-25) this past week with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs, and 10 runs scored. Koeck is hitting .267 for the season with 20 home runs, 77 RBIs and 98 runs scored. He has 112 hits in 420 at-bats and played in 107 games. |
