3 Boomers for Carter
Sunday, September 7th , 2064
Fans are still buzzing after Tulsa whipped the Estación Juanita Red Wings by the score of 28-2 at Titans Park.
Chase Carter smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 8 RBIs and scored 5 times.
At the postgame press conference, Carter said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Carter said. "Three is just... wow."
Chase Carter hit a two-run home run off Bobby Fontan in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Teddy Brooks in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Heriberto Gomez in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
During the current season Carter is batting at a .377 clip with 18 home runs and 43 RBIs. He has played in 45 games and scored 38 times.
