Izquierdo Wins RLA Top Pitcher Award Monday, September 1st , 2064 Tony Izquierdo of Santa Clara excelled on the mound in August with a 4-0 record and was named the Pitcher of the Month in the RCL LA. Izquierdo restricted opposing batters to 29 base hits and a .234 batting average. He rang up 34 strikeouts in 34.2 innings of work, surrendered 25 walks, and fashioned a 2.60 ERA. Izquierdo has fashioned a 11-4 mark for the season, 3.52 ERA and thrown 128 innings in 19 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .244 against him. |
