Calgary Hitmen Win Top Spot in RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division Tuesday, October 2nd , 2063 It was far from a foregone conclusion, but the Calgary Hitmen are now champions of the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division. "We battled, day in and day out," said starting pitcher Duane Alcock. "This is one to savor, as it was close right down to the end and that puts a lot of pressure on a team." With a record of 89-72, the Hitmen have officially won their 5th division crown. Manager Brandon Ashley said there's "a lot of pride and excitement" involved in coming out on top of the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division. The club will now be looking to win the 1st TRIPLE A championship in franchise history. |
