Brewster Too Tough, Blanks Quebec Tuesday, October 2nd , 2063 The Quebec Armada were almost helpless in their 5-0 loss to the Kansas City Tornadoes and hurler Monty Brewster. Brewster kept the Armada confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Brewster," Quebec manager Ramu Pavi said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 27-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Brewster said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." This year, Brewster has a 11-11 mark in 30 starts with a 6.01 ERA.
