Aiken Gets 8-6 Win Against Hoosiers
Gaëtan Dumortier had a good game, but he could not keep the Bloomington Hoosiers from falling, 8-6, to the Aiken Thoroughbreds at Hoosiers Stadium. The Bloomington right fielder was 2-4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice in the loss. Sergio Rivera earned the save for Aiken, his 7th. The Thoroughbreds improved to a lofty 116-46.

Aiken center fielder Chris Overdorf helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.
