The Kingston Beats could not turn a fine performance from center fielder Matt Rich into a win. Instead, the Arlington Stars prevailed, 12-9. Rich was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times. Jose Cacho picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-2. Brandon Thompson was tagged with the loss. The Stars now have a record of 68-93 with the win over Kingston.

Jack Harrigan hit a 3-run home run off Jeff Weaver in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Stars ahead, 11-9. In addition to the homer, Harrigan had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
