Elstner goes 3-for-3 to Light Atlantics Fuse
|
Behind a fine performance from Kirk Elstner, the Cuautitlan Izcalli Atlantics knocked off the San Carlos Pipers, 10-6. Elstner was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Atlantics. The Pipers have now dropped 5 straight.
In the bottom of the fourth, Devon Troyan delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Cuautitlan Izcalli designated hitter hit a 2-run single, putting the Atlantics in front, 10-6.
