Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and Bloomington Hoosiers.

The Toronto Blue Jays downed the Bloomington Hoosiers, 8-5, at Hoosiers Stadium. Steve Pike led the way, going 3-for-4 for Toronto. Victor Crawford recorded his 3rd save for Toronto.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ben Waugh? The Toronto first baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 4-2. For the game, Waugh had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"We've been playing some good baseball," Pike told the Toronto Daily. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
