Werewolves Slap 7-1 Loss on Hoosiers
|
Ft. Worth Werewolves starter Kuniyasu Inouye was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Bloomington Hoosiers, 7-1. The 4th-place Hoosiers have lost 4 straight games.
Ft. Worth used a clutch at-bat from Eric Richardson to capture the win. The catcher hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Werewolves ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"You score one run, you're not going to win," said Bloomington skipper Matthew Buchanan. "You can have three Koufaxes and three Drysdales, you're still not going to win."
