The Tulsa Titans defeated the Oak Park Architects, 8-0, at Oak Park Stadium. Tulsa was led by 23-year old center fielder David Perez, who went 3 for 5 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Osamu Nishimura got credit for the win, improving to 4-3. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.1 innings. With the victory, the Titans upped their record to 77-70.
Tulsa right fielder Federico Elizondo contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a splitter to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 136th hit of the season and put the Titans ahead, 4-0.
"We maximized our offense today," said Tulsa skipper Ezra Boudouani. "That makes everyone's life easier."
