Roy Lifts Thoroughbreds to 9-2 Win
The Aiken Thoroughbreds thumped the Victory Lakes Crawfish, 9-2, at Aiken Stadium. Ryan Roy was a big reason his team got the win. Roy went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win puts the Thoroughbreds at 103-42, while the Crawfish drop to 58-86.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Roy hit a 2-run single off Tamaichi Ri. It propelled the Thoroughbreds into the lead, 3-1.

"I like to lead by example," said Roy. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
