Waugh Helps Blue Jays Run Win Streak to 7
|
The Toronto Blue Jays grabbed a win, 7-5, over the Victory Lakes Crawfish at Crawfish Grounds. Toronto first baseman Ben Waugh went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The wins continue to add up for Toronto. The latest makes it 7 in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Toronto, had it not been for Dan Wooten, the 22-year old second baseman . Wooten contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Toronto up, 2-0.
