The Rattlers faced a stiff challenge from San Carlos pitcher Tony Rentas, but persevered to claim a win at Rattlers Field. The final score was 1-0. Rentas went 8 innings and allowed no runs. Mojave reliever Ron Burns picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Carlos Lira took the loss. Mojave currently is in 4th place in the TML LA East Division at 57-73.

The Rattlers got a clutch hit from right fielder Jairo Melendrez. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rattlers.

"This place was rockin'," said Melendrez.
