Mustangs Roll to 8-3 Win Over Vampires
It was a good time at Visigoths Stadium, where fans came to watch the Santa Clara Vampires and Downsview Mustangs get after it.

The Downsview Mustangs topped the Santa Clara Vampires, 8-3, in Pete Rose Little League action at Visigoths Stadium. The player of the game was Downsview pitcher and Ponce, Puerto Rico native Miguel Ponce. The third-place Vampires have lost 4 consecutive games.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when shortstop Pat Blight drew a walk. The Mustangs went on to win.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Blight.
