Weeter Stars as Panthers Top Panthers, 19-8
|
The Pitman High Panthers powered past the Pleasantville Panthers, 19-8, at Stealth Ballpark. Chris Weeter slugged 3 home runs. He scored 5 runs and drove in 10, to lead the charge. The win puts Pitman High at 11-16.
Weeter contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Pitman High in the top of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Weeter took a fastball from Josh Hanson and stroked the home run to left-center. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Panthers to leap in front, 3-1.
"Enjoyed this one," Weeter told the Pitman High News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
