All Blacks Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Mustangs

The All Blacks had to overcome a fine effort from San Marin pitcher Elwood Kenner to grab a narrow 4-2 win at Swamp Foxes Stadium. Kenner went 6.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Josh Gately, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. Baie-Comeau is in 5th place in the Hank Aaron Little League Bob Gibson Division with a record of 11-14.
Had Willie Perez not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Perez hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the All Blacks.
After the game, Baie-Comeau manager Franck Devos applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
