Royal Oak designated hitter Jay Goldsby helped his team beat the Arlington Stars, 7-4. Goldsby, who is tied for 10th in the RLA in doubles with 23, went 1 for 2 for the Leprechauns. The last-place Leprechauns hiked their record to 54-72.

Royal Oak used a clutch at-bat from Stanley Wilks to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Leprechauns ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Goldsby.
