Milio Delivers Walk-Off Win for Cardinals
Brian Thomas never let Downsview get something going. The Montreal left-hander commanded his forkball in pitching the Cardinals to a 2-1 win. Montreal now owns a record of 11-11.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Cardinals had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the ninth, when left fielder Danny Milio hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Chris Bellan and made the score 2-1, Cardinals. Milio was 1 for 5.

"We did just enough to win," Milio said.
