Lions Collect 15-11 Win Versus Pleasantville
The Lerna Lions defeated the Pleasantville Panthers, 15-11, in part because of second baseman Joe Schuster. Schuster went 2 for 3 with a double and 3 walks. He scored 3 runs for the Lions. Lerna is now 8-11, Pleasantville 8-11.

Aaron Harris had a big 2-run double for the Lions in the top of the third inning. With Lerna leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 15-year old right-handed pitcher Tyler Trawinski and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lions ahead, 6-3.

"Nice win for us," said Harris. "Now we'll go after the next one."
