Tigers Take Nail-Biter Over Poly
The Tioga Central Tigers needed 10 innings to beat the Riverside Poly, 10-9, at Alleycats Ballpark. The win was due in part to center fielder Chris Kittrell, who hit 2 home runs, while scoring 4 and driving in 3. The win went to Ross Soto in relief, making him now 1-1. Abel Richardson took the loss for Riverside. Tioga Central now sits at 7-10, while Riverside falls to 8-9.

The decisive blow was delivered by Colby McAbee in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 16-year old right-handed pitcher Abel Richardson to win the game for Tioga Central. The home crowd went nuts.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Tioga Central field general Hector Valencia.
