15-14 Topeka West Win Thrills Crowd
Bill Dunlap was the difference-maker for the Topeka West Chargers in what turned into a shootout with the Pitman High Panthers. Dunlap, who is tied for 2nd in the PRLL in extra base hits with 15, went 5-for-7 in the extra-inning, 15-14 Chargers win. Topeka West reliever Casey Edmiston got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Trevor Brock was tagged with the loss. With the win, Topeka West pushed its record to 10-6.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With one out, Dunlap hit a cutter from Trevor Brock for a run-scoring single. The Chargers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Dunlap told the Topeka West Daily News: "I'm the straw that stirs the drink."
