The Topeka West Chargers got a superb performance from first baseman William Stall, but the Canby Lancers still won the game, 8-7. Stall was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Paul Strom picked up the win in relief. Jon Carman took the loss for Topeka West. Jonathan Carlton was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save.

Chase Gannon drove in one run for Canby. The 15-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jon Carman. It was his 1st RBI of the season.

"I like how we battled to the end," said Gannon.

The Lancers bumped their record to 8-7 with this win.
