Koetters hits 2 home runs as Warhawks Squeeze Past Jefferson
|
Ballpark of Monterrey HS was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Seminole Warhawks and the Jefferson Indians.
Danny Koetters led Seminole to a win over Jefferson. The final score was 8-7. The third baseman collected 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. Seminole is now 4-11.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the fourth inning. That's when first baseman Scott Israel, who is tied for 5th in the HALL in triples with 1, got hit by a pitch. The Warhawks went on to win.
"We found a way to get it done," Israel said.
