Atlantics Grove was the site for TML LA action featuring the Cuautitlan Izcalli Atlantics and Springfield Sentries.

The Sentries grabbed a win, 6-4, at Atlantics Grove, overcoming a fine effort from Cuautitlan Izcalli pitcher Joey Chapman. Chapman went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. Springfield reliever Estevan Mendoza picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Mario Zapata took the loss. Mario Abundis closed it out for his 12th save.

Jacob Eschbach came through with a big-time hit for Springfield. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Springfield manager Barrett Jackson was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.

The Sentries now own a record of 48-65.
