Beats Deal Titans 6-3 Loss
|
The Kingston Beats racked up a win at Titans Park, bumping off the Tulsa Titans, 6-3, in 10 innings. Dan Devaney, who started for Kingston, pitched effectively for his team. Jose Montoya earned his 3rd save in 3 chances. The Beats improved their record to 43-65 by beating Tulsa.
Kingston used the hitting of Melvin Silva to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Beats on top, 4-3. For the game, Silva had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"It was terrific getting this win," Silva said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
