Falcons Throttle Indians, 5-1
|
The Frontance Falcons downed the Jefferson Indians, 5-1, at Chickenhawks Stadium. The Falcons were led by Justin Hayman, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with 3 doubles, while adding 2 RBI. At 3-0, the Falcons have played well so far.
Hayman's nice game included a clutch 2-run double in the bottom of the sixth.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Frontance skipper Bryan Bram.
