Beachy drives in 4 runs to Ignite Falcons Offense
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 19-year old shortstop Eric Beachy, the River Falls Falcons stopped the Springfield Sentries, 8-2. The second-place Falcons now have a record of 60-45.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Beachy hit a run-scoring triple off Tony Bigio. It propelled the Falcons into the lead, 1-0.
"I thought we played a nice game," Beachy told the River Falls Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
