Bourguignon Shines in 7-5 London Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the London Monarchs and Victoria Capitals.

Todd Bourguignon impressed in the 7-5 London win over Victoria. Bourguignon, who is tied for 7th in the LBL in triples with 2, went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. London reliever Don Oulton picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Mike Luckwell was tagged with the loss. Johnny Munroe collected save number 5.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Bourguignon hit a 2-run home run off Mike Luckwell. It propelled the Monarchs into the lead, 3-1.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Bourguignon. "And not try to do too much."

London, at 19-37, sits in last place in the Lester B. Person League East Division.
