Todd Corcoran exploded for a barrage of base hits at Red Wings Grove.

The Estación Juanita center fielder had a field day in his team's 9-7 triumph over the Kingston Beats, finishing 5-for-5.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Corcoran must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Todd Corcoran singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.

This season, Corcoran is batting .395 with 33 RBIs, 60 runs scored and 10 home runs.
