With third baseman Fred Scott leading the charge, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Mojave Rattlers, 7-5, at Rattlers Field. Scott was 2-2 with 2 singles and 3 walks. He scored 2 times. Toronto reliever Jeff Ferguson picked up the win. Victor Rodriguez took the loss for Mojave. Sean Meloche recorded the save for Toronto, his 4th of the season.

With one out in the top of the fourth, Ben Waugh put Toronto in front, 4-2, with a 2-run single. The Blue Jays went on to win the ballgame.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Scott told the Toronto Daily. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."

Toronto is now 94-10, 35 games up in the TML LA East Division.
