Legends Net 7-4 Win Over Saints
|
The Saskatoon Legends knocked off the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 7-4, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Walt Chartrand was a big reason Saskatoon won. The first baseman was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the win, the Legends have a record of 27-25.
Chartrand had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-1 fastball from John Jackman, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Legends a 5-2 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Chartrand.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Chartrand.
