The Kelowna Heat picked up a win at Ballpark of Chilliwack College, defeating the Victoria Capitals, 5-0. Starting pitcher John MacNevin was an essential part of his team's success. The save went to Ty Bandelow, number 1 for him. Kelowna bumps their record to 18-34 with the win.

Bob Moraine was 1-3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs for Kelowna. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Forrest Lovelass. It was his 71st walk of the season.
