Surrey got a terrific game from second baseman David Barreto. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Royal Oak, 3-0. Barreto went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. Royal Oak reliever Hector Alvarez was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Victor Valenzuela took the loss. The Thunderbirds have now dropped 5 straight.
